Seeing as I am the only Maynard in British Columbia who is a REALTOR, I thought I should have a page dedicated to filling you all in on what's going on with the Maynards Block condo development at 415 W 2nd Ave. I am NOT affiliated with Rennie Marketing or Maynard's Block in any official capacity, so if you already have a Realtor you should be calling them, not me! If you do not yet have a Realtor, and would like my help, then by all means give me a call!
Two glass and steel towers are being built surrounding the old brick Maynard's Auctioneers building, which will be restored and renovated with two floors of townhomes. The North tower, on the waterfront side, is to be 13-storeys. The West tower will be 9 storeys. All of this is projected to be completed sometime in 2010.
The Maynards condos in the False Creek area of Vancouver are being developed by the Aquilini Investment Group, owner of the Vancouver Canucks, and Rennie Marketing Systems will, of course, be in charge of marketing.

Current Updates
They do have a preview suite available for viewing. The preview centre is currently open from Noon-5pm Saturday and Sunday, or call Rennie Marketing at 604-893-8378 to arrange a private viewing.
Pre-sales were expected to start in the Spring of 2009. There is currently no hard date on when sales will start, but rumours are it will now be October 2009 -- If you sign up below, you'll be one of the first to hear when there's an update!
Sales were originally projected to start at $449,000, but are now expected to start from $359,900. I encourage you all to take advantage of this new, low pricing!!!
